After completing our paint application let's start our class with the world of typing and writing. Before start writing lets know about the keyboard and its use. Keyboard is a part of computer that has lot of keys such as numeric keys, alphabetical keys, control keys, function keys, navigation keys etc.
Always use your both hand's fingers to type something on your word pad. Youshould use thumbs to press the space key and other for another word.

Go to START → ALL PROGRAMS → ACCESSORIES → WORD PAD
Here we can find the ribbon as look as the window of paint but the home icons
are different. Let's see
- HOW CAN WE WRITE IN CAPITAL LATTER?
key or you can press SHIFT KEY and hold it then press the desired key to
make capital.
FONT: Font can be design in different ways as:-
Font Style: To change the font in different style.
Font Style: Bold, Italic, Underline
Font Size: Increase or decrease
Strikethrough the font, highlight the fonts, color the font etc.
Alignments
There are four font's alignments as left alignment, right alignment, center
alignment and Justify.
Bullets, multilevel list and numberings
CLIPBOARD: It contains copy, past and cut icons
Insert: insert ribbon contains insert pictures, paint drawing, date and time,
and insert object
Editing: It contains find, replace and select all icons
VIEW MENU: Contains; zoom, ruler and status bar, word wrap and measurement unit
HOW CAN WE INSERT PICTURE IN DOCUMENTS?
Insert picture in documents is very easy in word pad.
First of all Click on Picture Icon → window will be open → select the photo
→ click on open icon
As the same above Click on other icon in Insert menu as date time, insert
object etc.
